1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing and using TranslateX ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
These terms apply to all users of the App, including merchants, store owners, and administrators.
2. Service Description
TranslateX is a Shopify application that provides:
- Unlimited translation key storage
- Automatic synchronization to Shopify Metaobjects
- Multi-language support for Shopify stores
- Bulk import/export functionality
- Auto-translation features (on select plans)
- Resource translation capabilities (on select plans)
3. Account Registration
To use TranslateX, you must have a valid Shopify store and install the App through the Shopify App Store. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Shopify account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring your use complies with Shopify's Terms of Service
- Notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Subscription and Billing
Subscription terms:
- All plans include a 3-day free trial
- Billing is handled through Shopify's billing system
- Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not violate any intellectual property rights
- Not transmit harmful code or malware
- Not attempt to reverse engineer the App
- Not use the App to store illegal or offensive content
- Ensure accuracy of translations for your customers
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
6. Service Availability
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:
- Perform scheduled maintenance with notice
- Suspend service for emergency maintenance
- Modify or discontinue features with notice
- Implement rate limits to ensure fair usage
7. Data Ownership and Usage
You retain all rights to your translation data. We:
- Store your data securely in encrypted databases
- Do not sell or share your data with third parties
- May use anonymized data for analytics and improvements
- Will delete your data within 30 days of uninstallation
- Provide data export functionality at any time
8. Intellectual Property
TranslateX and all associated trademarks, logos, and intellectual property are owned by OneSitaTech. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our software
- Use our branding without permission
- Create derivative works based on our App
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties
- We are not liable for translation accuracy or errors
- We are not responsible for data loss (maintain backups)
- Our liability is limited to amounts paid in the last 12 months
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
10. Auto-Translation Services
Auto-translation features use third-party APIs (Google Translate, Bing). You acknowledge that:
- Machine translations may contain errors
- You are responsible for reviewing all auto-translations
- We provide usage limits for fair usage (2.5M characters/month combined)
- Excessive usage may result in additional charges or limitations
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the service:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- We may suspend service for Terms violations
- We may terminate with 30 days notice for any reason
- Upon termination, you lose access to the App
- Data will be deleted within 30 days of termination
- You should export your data before canceling
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Gujarat, India.
